What to bring on a boat day from Ibiza

A swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a towel. The snorkel set, paddleboard, dinghy, water, snacks and drinks are already on board.

The short list

Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a towel. That is the list we repeat because it is the one people forget. The sun on the channel is stronger than it feels in the marina, and the deck is open.

A light layer is enough if you cool down after a swim. Leave the hard suitcase at the hotel. Soft bags stay out of the way on a 14-metre sailboat.

Already on board

The day includes the skipper and the fuel. There is a dinghy for the beach, a paddleboard, snorkel gear, a Bluetooth speaker with Spotify Premium, and water. Snacks and drinks are included on both the small-group day and the private charter.

You do not need to hire fins in town or carry a board through the port. If you want something specific to drink beyond what is on board, say so when you book and bring it. Your own food is welcome.

What not to bother with

You do not need a car, a parking plan, or a timetable for the ferry if the sail is the plan. The day tour leaves from Ibiza. A private boat can leave from Ibiza or Formentera.

Reef shoes are optional. A dry bag is useful for a phone and nothing else. Check the date in the booking page — rates move with the season, and the price there is the one that counts.
