Espalmador and Ses Illetes on the same sail

Two stops, one departure from Ibiza. Espalmador first, Ses Illetes after, and enough time in the water at both.

One channel, two very different swims

Espalmador and Ses Illetes are close on a map and nothing alike in the water. Espalmador is the islet in the channel. Ses Illetes is the famous sandbar on Formentera itself. A sail from Ibiza can take both without turning the day into a race.

The small-group day tour is seven hours, from Ibiza, with a maximum of eight guests. That size is what keeps the swim stops unhurried. You are not sharing a deck with a coach party.

Espalmador first

The approach to Espalmador is the moment the colour changes. The boat slows over pale water, the beach is long, and the stop is usually quieter than the one that follows. This is the swim where people actually put the snorkel on.

Posidonia and sand patches sit close to the surface. The paddleboard is useful here if you want to look without swimming the whole way. The dinghy is there when you want the beach itself.

Then Ses Illetes

Ses Illetes is brighter and busier, and it is still worth it. The sand runs out into water so shallow the boat stays further off and the dinghy does the landing. If you have one day between the islands, this pair is the day.

Snacks and drinks are on board. Food of your own is welcome. Book the day tour if this is the route you want — a private charter can choose it too, but the shared sail is made for exactly these two stops.
